Liverpool-based legal experts Bond Turner has taken an additional 4,200 sq ft of Grade A space in Downing’s No.1 Old Hall Street office development, further committing its long-term future to the central Liverpool location.
Bond Turner joins other recent new arrivals at the building, including Rasul & Howell Limited, Dendara Limited, Kenyon McAteer Solicitors, and Gibbons Law, at the 67,000 sq ft development, located directly opposite Moorfields train station.
The company has signed a 10-year lease for the office space on the upper ground floor. It is the firm’s second suite in the building, bringing its total of Grade A office space to 9,300 sq ft.
The announcement follows Downing’s completion of newly installed, thermally and acoustically efficient, feature facades and windows across all elevations of the building, at the end of 2022.
Previous phases of the £6 million refurbishment at No.1 Old Hall Street have seen an insulated roof replacement, a power supply upgrade, the completion of a new building entrance and reception area, breakout areas and meeting spaces, as Downing has continued to modernise its office space to meet the changing and varied demands of office working. Downing is not stopping here though, with further additions to tenant amenities and wellbeing, to be delivered later this year.
A new 10,000 sq ft, Grade A office space is now available on its fifth floor, with a further 7,000 sq ft set to be delivered later this year on the 5th floor. No.1 also offers a range of smaller offices, from one person suites, upwards, which are available via Downing’s contemporary flexi-lease brand.
