Downing is gearing up for its busiest record breaking year to date in 2025 with ten new projects planned to start on site at locations across the UK, equating to £1.6 billion.
To prepare for the record breaking year, Downing is launching a recruitment drive to attract new senior recruits to join its 200-strong team.
In just the first quarter of 2024, Downing has already acquired five prime UK sites spanning Bristol, Glasgow, Newcastle, Brighton and London that all expect to start on site in 2025.
Other notable projects in the pipeline for next year include developments in Leeds, Manchester and Wandsworth in London. Collectively, these ten projects contribute to the £1.6 billion pipeline set for 2025.
This builds off the company’s strong track record that has seen it deliver over £2 billion in real estate development, including 14,500 Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) beds across the UK in its 35-year history.
In line with Downing’s trajectory, the firm is looking to add to its ambitious team to facilitate its continued growth. It is recruiting a range of senior multi-disciplined roles, across investment, construction and development.
