Liverpool’s best-kept secret visitor attraction, Quirky Quarter, is preparing to reopen its doors to the public next week.
The family-friendly experience will start welcoming visitors again from Tuesday 14th July.
Situated at developer Downing’s student accommodation scheme The Arch, next door to Liverpool’s Imperial Arch, the attraction offers visitors a medley of interactive experiences and brain-stimulating workouts, puzzling challenges and oddball photo opportunities.
Downing has supported Quirky Quarter throughout lockdown to assist with lease terms and ensure the attraction has been able to safely reopen.
The team behind Quirky Quarter have been implementing new measures to keep visitors safe and socially distanced. Physical distancing markers have been placed throughout and strict handwashing and hygiene procedures will be in place.
Guests will be able to book an exclusive arrival slot using its online booking system and must visit with members of the same social bubble.
As an additional measure, the attraction has introduced an overnight ultra-violet sanitisation and staff will be equipped with gloves, visors and facemasks.
As a way to say ‘thank you’ to NHS staff working during the Covid-19 pandemic, the team will reopen its doors to NHS workers and members of their social bubbles from 9-12 July for exclusive, free entry to the attraction.
