Developer and landlord Downing has welcomed two new tenants to its Flexi-Offices at its flagship No.1 Old Hall Street building.
Training centre Peak Accountancy Training has taken 650 sq. ft of Flexi-Office space in the building, as it looks to expand its presence across the North West. Peak Accountancy also operates in Chester, offering classroom and online courses in accountancy and bookkeeping.
International recruitment company Intern Europe Ltd has also taken space in the building. The firm required a tight turnaround to set up its new office space and Downing’s flexi model ensured they were able to do this with minimal disruption to their operations.
Elsewhere in the building, existing tenant Britannia Movers have recently expanded into a new, larger flexi-suite to support its continued growth.

No.1 Old Hall Street’s Flexi-Office suites range in size from 140 ft² to 1100 ft² and are suitable for one to 20 people. The package features inclusive monthly rents, flexibility on duration to suit each customer’s business plan, along with a simplified and standard, short form of lease – eliminating an often expensive and lengthy legal process and allowing early occupation.
All the suites are private but are delivered within clusters with a shared kitchen facility. They each have high specification finishes and deliver budgetary certainty through a fixed all-inclusive monthly cost – which covers service charges, electricity, building insurance and rates, if required.
Work is nearing completion on a brand new, 5,100 ft², Grade A, office suite within the building. It is located directly off a new reception, with its own feature portal entrance and will deliver a bright and modern workspace for a new tenant to base their operations in one of the city’s most prestigious locations, facing directly onto Old Hall Street and opposite Mersey Rail’s Moorfields station entrance, at the centre of the Commercial District.
The building’s new entrance and reception facilities, include a new waiting area and concierge lobby, plus, the addition of new male, female and accessible WCs and a shower area.
