A brand new development will soon replace the existing Holiday Inn Express on Victoria Road, North Acton. The development will consist of two impressive towers, including a 31 storey of 609 student accommodation beds and a 17 storey, 59 build-to-rent units.
The project also includes 255 sq m of commercial retail space on the ground floor, as well as additional parking for cars and bicycles. Designed by architects SimpsonHaugh, the development will provide affordable housing with internal and external amenity space. Sustainability is at the forefront of the development, with features that aim to achieve BREEAM Excellent standard, Target Secured by Design, and Home Quality Mark certification.
It will be the third development Downing has delivered in the North Acton area following the success of The Lyra and Holbrook student accommodation developments.
