Leading UK student accommodation provider Downing Students has announced that its first development in Edinburgh will be available to book for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The £25 million New Park development comprises of 238 shared apartments and studios and will be open for guests visiting the Scottish capital during July and August.
Students are also now able to book their accommodation at the development for the 2017/2018 academic year.
Downing Students has launched ‘New Park Summer Stays’ in time for the festival, taking place 4th-28th August, after official figures estimated that more than 2 million people attended the world-famous event in 2016.
New Park is located just off Easter Road, near Leith, and is a short distance from the city’s universities and main leisure attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish National Gallery and Calton Hill.
The brand new development is within less than a one-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, with both bus and rail services nearby.
Guests can choose from a variety of rooms, which are available to book on either a room only basis, as whole apartments, or as self-contained studios.
All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, large beds, plenty of storage space and bicycle storage is also available on-site.
New Park is available to book from 30th June to 2nd September, with midweek prices for a standard room starting from £40 a night.
