One of our most iconic buildings is The View, an 18-storey masterpiece that houses 444 high-quality student bedrooms. Serving as the final phase of our Downing Plaza Development, The View showcases a striking blue exterior that graces Newcastle’s skyline from various angles. Its unique design, with the building’s height gradually increasing from the back to the front, creates a harmonious connection with the city centre’s grandeur. The dynamic façade, crafted with reflective glass and metal panels, adds a captivating touch that evolves with the surroundings.
We are extremely proud to have been selected as the partner of choice for Newcastle University, based on the superior quality of our adjacent developments, strong financial position and our ability to meet rigorous time, quality, and budget requirements. As part of Downing Plaza, we have also collaborated on the new Business School for the University, which offers 120,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art teaching spaces and cutting-edge facilities. This building exemplifies our commitment to excellence.
